Privacy Policy

Pin URL: when you paste a public Pinterest Pin link, our servers process that URL in the request so we can resolve available media. We do not save pasted URLs into a user profile or marketing database.

Short-lived resolve cache: successful pin lookups may be cached by pin ID for a short time (typically minutes) to speed up repeated requests for the same public Pin. The cache holds media metadata for that Pin, not your name or email.

Download streaming: by default, Save file opens the Pinterest CDN media URL in your browser so the file transfer does not pass through our servers. If we enable server streaming in operations settings, media may briefly stream through our server from Pinterest's CDN to your browser for delivery, and is not kept as a permanent archive.

Rate limiting: we temporarily track request volume by IP address in cache to prevent abuse. Those counters expire automatically.

We do not require a public user account, Pinterest login, or password.

We do not sell personal information or build advertising profiles from the Pin URLs you paste.

We do not run third-party analytics or ad scripts on this site in the current application.

Essential cookies and session storage: Laravel session and CSRF cookies are used so forms and API calls work securely.

Optional tool rating: if you rate a tool, we store only an aggregate average and vote count per tool page. A cookie and session flag remember that you already rated that tool so duplicate votes are limited. Ratings are not tied to a name or email.

Browser local storage may also remember that you rated a tool on that device.

If you email support@pinterestvideodownloader.net, we receive whatever you include in that message (typically your email address, subject, and message body). We use that only to respond and handle the request (support, privacy, DMCA, security, or business).

There is no on-site contact form that stores submissions in our application database.

Site operators have admin accounts stored in our database for operating the service (banners, health checks, ratings moderation). Those accounts are not used by public visitors.

Application error logs may include pin IDs and technical error messages for debugging. Hosting providers may retain standard web server access logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, request path) according to their retention practices.

Pinterest is a separate service. When a Pin is resolved or media is fetched, requests go to Pinterest infrastructure under Pinterest's own terms and privacy policy.

Our hosting environment (and any CDN or reverse proxy in front of the site) may process connection data as part of delivering the website.

Resolve cache entries expire after a short TTL (minutes).

Rate-limit counters expire within about an hour or less depending on the limit window.

Rating aggregates remain until changed or cleared by operators.

Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the inquiry.

Hosting and application logs are rotated or retained for a limited operational period, longer only if needed for security investigation.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data. For email correspondence, contact us to request deletion of that thread.

Because the public downloader does not create user accounts, there is typically no download history account to export.

California residents: we do not sell personal information as defined by CCPA.

Pinterest Video Downloader is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
